Derwent upbeat after 25 Baker Street office lettings

London developer Derwent has said it is upbeat about the London office market after saying that it has let all the office space at its 25 Baker Street scheme.

The job has recently been completed by Laing O’Rourke and in an update this morning Derwent said: “The successful pre-letting of all the offices also demonstrates strong occupier appeal, giving us additional confidence in our 50 Baker Street scheme opposite.”

Multiplex has signed a PCSA for the job at 50 Baker Street, worth around £150m, having pipped Skanska to the work. The job is due to begin in earnest next year.

Both 25 and 50 Baker Street have been designed by AHMM.
