Dig that: The new City and County Museum in Lincoln has received planning permission. Designed by London-based Panter Hudspith Architects, the archaeology museum will be situated between the city’s commercial centre and its historic area. Work is due to start on the 3700 m2 site in the autumn. The project team includes QS Dennis Rooney Associates, structural engineer Price & Myers, M&E engineer Arup, museum consultants Austin-Smith:Lord and Prince Research Consultants, and planning supervisor Hyder Business Services.
