Consultant appoints Simon Lucas as partner and education sector leader
Education expert Simon Lucas has joined consultant EC Harris as a partner and education sector leader.
Lucas joins EC Harris from Mouchel Group where he was latterly director of community services management.
At EC Harris he will focus on leading the 200 education team, as well as further developing the consultant’s positions in the schools and academies, BSF and higher & further education markets.
Prior to his time at Mouchel Group, Lucas was head of policy & planning management services and head of education services at Southampton City Council; where he led the successful transition of the entire education infrastructure to the newly formed unitary authority.
Other senior LEA advisor and inspector posts at the London Borough of Waltham Forest and ILEA followed eight years teaching in Lewisham and Essex.
Paul Foster who was previously education sector leader now heads up the EC Harris team in one of its key markets in Dubai.
