Income at EDF-owned business tops £650m

EDF-owned Dalkia Group saw both profit and turnover rise last year.

The construction, engineering and FM firm posted pre-tax profit of £8.2m last year, up sharply on the £312,000 it made last time.

Increased energy and nuclear work helped boost Dalkia’s numbers last year

Revenue was up 8% to £657m.

It said: “Growth in engineering has been concentrated in our strategic sectors, with a notable expansion in the nuclear and energy sectors, as well as successful completion of a number of key projects and a very strong track record in the life science and healthcare sectors.”

Dalkia placed 44th in Building’s Top 150 Biggest Contractors & Housebuilders list last year.
