David Kidney says he is looking for 'earliest day in November' to publish full document
The government has given its assurance that the national policy statement for energy will be published next month.
Speaking at the CBI’s energy conference this morning, energy minister David Kidney said a consultation on the draft document would be launched shortly, though he held back from giving a precise date.
He said he was looking for “the earliest day in November we can publish the full pack for you to see and for consultation”.
The government is currently preparing 12 national policy statements, which will set out infrastructure policy in different areas and guide the newly launched infrastructure planning commission in its decisions.
