Jeld-Wen has developed an A-rated window under the British Fenestration Research Council (BFRC) energy rating scheme for windows in residential properties.

The scheme takes into account factors such as U-values, solar heat gain and air leakage, and enables the comparison of the performance of windows under identical conditions. Products are graded from A to G.

Achieving an A rating means that each energy rated window can be labelled with an energy performance certificate.

The Stormsure Ultra A-C rated windows are part of Jeld-Wen’s Sovereign Stormsure range and come factory-glazed with ventilators fitted as standard. The windows are also fully accredited under the Timber Window Accreditation Scheme.
