Consultant posts a 16% jump in turnover from to £185.5m

Consultant Faber Maunsell has posted a 16% jump in turnover from £159.7m to £185.5m in the year ended 28 September 2007.

Pre-tax profit rose 8% from £10.5m to £11.4m.

The company said: “We have achieved considerable growth in the past few years. To meet current demands, a new senior management structure has been implemented.”

While UK turnover was £171m, Europe contributed £12.2m and the Middle East, £153,400. The highest paid director’s salary rose 6% from to £214,300. The average staff pay was £41,400.

The results don’t include the £2m purchase of Belfast engineer Mulholland and Doherty in November.
