Riverside development to be city’s first wholly co-living scheme

Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios has submitted a planning application for a 272-home co-living scheme in Bath.

Called Windsor Bridge Co-Living, the scheme for Blue Coast Capital would be built on a long-neglected former industrial site on the banks of the River Avon which has been vacant since the 1970s.

The project is set to be the first scheme in Bath wholly composed of co-living homes.

FCBS’s plans for the scheme are at a former industrial site on the north bank of the River Avon

Located on Lower Bristol Road next to Windsor Bridge, the development would consist of four, five-storey riverside buildings set in a rejuvenated biodiverse landscape.

Each block will include resident gardens and courtyards, growing spaces and a planted ‘green buffer’ between the buildings and the river. 

Public realm interventions include a new pedestrian and cyclist connection to the tow path.
