New team will offer QS and project management services to clients in defence, education, leisure, government and healthcare

Consultant Faithful+Gould has strengthened its presence in the Thames Valley with the opening of a new office in Oxford.

The office will be led by Nick Surman, regional director, as the new head of business under the directorship of Richard Ernest from the Reading office, established 10 years ago.

Staff from F+G’s parent company, Atkins Design Solutions, will transfer to the new Oxford office. They team offers a full range of QS and project management services to clients across the south central region and Thames Valley.

The Oxford office will provide expertise in service delivery across all sectors of the property market including defence, education, leisure, government offices and healthcare.

This will compliment the skill set offered by the Reading office, which has grown significantly in recent years and is involved with high profile projects in the retail, finance and government sectors, as well as the waste industry.

Richard Ernest, director responsible for the new office, said: “In light of the tremendous growth and development of Faithful+Gould over the last couple of years, we feel it is important for us to be able to provide an improved service offering to our key clients in the area.

“We’re very excited about the move into Oxford which will see us strengthen our business in the Thames Valley and provide our clients with a wider set of services and expertise.”
