Move over Serpentine - a new summer pavilion is taking shape at the Architectural Association. Student Simon Whittle’s competition-winning scheme is going to be built in Finnforest timber and take up temporary residence in Bedford Square in July. That’s if Whittle and his fellow students can design, project manage and build the pavilion in time….. BD is following their progress in a blog that will be regularly updated until the first celebratory champagne corks pop in the pavilion.
