Fit-out specialist BW has broken the £100m turnover barrier, the firm has revealed.

In a statement BW said its turnover topped £100m in the year to September 2015, up at least 20% on the previous year’s £79.2m, while staff numbers grew to over 120 people.

BW said its turnover was boosted by amassing 50 projects ranging in value from £200,000 to over £25m, across a variety of sectors including legal, financial services, cosmetics, shipping, consumer goods, oil, charitable, healthcare, technology, media and telecommunications.

The firm will publish full accounts at Companies House in due course.

Steve Elliott (pictured), BW’s chief executive, said: “It’s been an exciting year at BW and I’d like to thank all of our existing and new clients for their support.

“We’re determined to retain the unique and distinctive personality that keeps clients coming back time after time, while also investing in long term growth through a determined aim to complete all our projects defect free.”

In an interview with Building in June, Elliott said he plans to expand the firm into a £200m-turnover business within five years. Building revealed last November that the former Morgan Sindall fit-out boss had joined BW.
