Stage two of the refurbishment of Merton College to begin this month.
Fitzpatrick Contractors have been awarded an £8 million contract to carry out the second phase of the redevelopment of Merton College in Morden, Surrey. The work includes constructing new buildings at the college’s main campus as part of an overall scheme that will bring all college activities to one site.
Specialist eduction architects Ash Design Consultants have designed the new buildings, which will provide 6000 m2 of floor space. The design includes a new main entrance and atrium, a library learning centre, classrooms, laboratories and an internet café.
