Toronto HQ wins 2007 Institute Honor Award from the American Institute of Architecture

The headquarters of Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto has won the 2007 Institute Honor Award from the American Institute of Architecture.

The project was led by architects Kuwabara Payne McKenna Blumberg and Goldsmith Borgal and Company. Known as Project Grande Jeté, the £44m scheme weaves three glass structures around a heritage building from 1856. The structural engineer was Halcrow Yolles.
