A former finance boss at ISG has been appointed to chief financial officer at Severfield.

Page spent just 11 months at ISG which collapsed into administration in September 2024.

He has previously held senior finance positions at energy companies British Energy and Centrica, transport business FirstGroup and retailer Ocado.

Severfield chief executive Paul McNerney said: “[Page] brings extensive experience from within the construction sector, alongside a strong track record of financial leadership in UK-listed companies. As we continue our transformation and redefine our wider strategy, Andrew will play a key role in strengthening the foundations for long-term growth.”

Last month, McNerney said the firm would be closing its £24m modular business which employs around 140 people.

Severfield, which has recently been hit by the bill for carrying out repairs on several bridges, the majority of which are on the HS2 railway, is due to release its next set of annual results for the year to March on 17 June.
