Gareth Lewis spent 27 years at Mace before leaving in 2024

Lewis left Mace in summer 2024 after 27 years at the firm and last year was appointed a non-executive director at M&E firm at Phoenix, the contractor’s first non-executive in more than 90 years of trading.

Atlas bought Bovis last year from previous owner, Australian business Lendlease, for £35m and picked up Permasteelisa from Japanese firm Lixil for an undisclosed sum nearly six years ago.
