Steve Hudson takes up director role at consultant

Former Sir Robert McAlpine executive board member Steve Hudson has joined T&T as director of infrastructure.

Hudson was one of several people to leave the McAlpine board last September as part of a rejig at the business which has seen the contractor focus on three sectors – commercial, healthcare and industrial.

He joined the firm in 2020 as group commercial director before being made executive managing director of infrastructure in November 2024.

T&T’s managing director for infrastructure and defence in the UK, Andy Scott, said: “Steve brings over 30 years’ experience leading complex major projects and programmes across contractor, client and government environments.

“His track record in commercial leadership, programme set-up and delivery will be instrumental as we scale our support to some of the UK’s most critical and high-value investments.”

Before McAlpine, Hudson previously worked for HS2, HM Treasury and Carillion, leaving that firm in 2012.
