Bespoke Leeds consultant seeks to recruit senior professionals for expansion

A former partner at EC Harris and director at KW Linfoot have launched The Consult Group, a new development, project and cost management consultant in Leeds.

Andrew Simpson, formally at the QS, and Richard Dean, director at the Leeds developer KW Linfoot aim to offer bespoke advice and solutions for public and private sector clients.

Andrew Simpson said: "With our combined expertise we truly believe that we can bring a more holistic approach to our clients."

The new firm is actively seeking to recruit senior professionals to join its expanding team. It has an aggressive business plan in place with ambitions to open regional businesses in Newcastle, York and Teesside over the next 12 months.

Dean has overseen major projects including The Deep Aquarium in Hull and The Jubilee Campus for Nottingham University whilst working with Bovis Lend Lease.

He said: “The economic climate is forcing change in the property industry and that’s a good thing to some extent.

“We are starting to see a more entrepreneurial spirit from professionals which is needed to give a competitive edge.”

The Consult Group will operate from headquarters on York Place in Leeds.
