Work due to finish in summer 2022

Laing O’Rourke is coming to the end of the first part of work that will eventually see Galliard’s construction arm build close to 100 apartments above Crossrail’s Tottenham Court Road station entrance.

O’Rourke is expected to hand over the site on the corner of Oxford Street and Dean Street next month having built up to the first floor above the entrance.

Designed by Hawkins\Brown, the scheme (pictured) will include 92 apartments along with a near 8,000sq ft retail unit.

Galliard Construction is expected to finish the job, called Tottenham Court Road West Soho, in summer 2022.

Laing O’Rourke is also working on a separate scheme at Tottenham Court Road’s Crossrail station, further east along Oxford Street.

The firm is working on a £195m deal for Derwent on the corner of Oxford Street and Charing Cross Road.

Designed by AHMM, it will include a new theatre along with retail and office space. Work I due to finish in early 2022.
