Contractor will provide new health and social care premises for the South East Essex NHS LIFT project

Galliford Try has secured a contract on a new NHS LIFT scheme in Essex.

The company will be the private sector partner on the South East Essex NHS LIFT project worth £100m. It will be working alongside Southend Primary Care Trust and Castle Point and Rochford Primary Care Trust to deliver the new health and social care premises in the region.

The first phases of the project is due to start its construction phase in April 2007 when two new primary care centres will be built at The Paddocks on Canvey Island and at Shoebury House in Shoeburyness.

This is the fourth NHS LIFT project that Galliford Try has been awarded having won contracts at Coventry, Liverpool & Sefton &Barnet and Enfield & Haringey.
