Contractor reaches financial close on four residential care home scheme in the London Borough of Ealing.

Galliford Try has reached financial close on four residential care home schemes in London with a total construction value of £25m.

Galliford Try is part of a consortium working for Ealing Care Alliance, which comprises Servite Houses and Barclay European Investment Fund. Construction work will start on the four sites in April 2005.

David Caverley, chief executive of Galliford Try said: “Our significant involvement in the health sector, through both PFI and Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) projects, demonstrates an ability to meet our client's needs and to take further advantage of the increasing opportunities for expanding our workload in this important sector.”
