Galliford Try has reported that total house sales rose 7% to £274m in the four months to 5 November and it described the autumn selling season as “stable”

It reiterated its plan to undertake a strategic expansion of its housing arm after a £126m rights issue last month. It said its construction business “continued to perform well in a competitive market” by concentrating on the public and regulated sectors. Its order book stood at £1.75bn on 5 November.
