Specialist contractor Giffen Group plc is suing Equitas in a dispute over an insurance contract.
Giffen, which works in the rail and underground sectors as well as for a wide range of industrial and commercial organisations, accuses Equitas of breach of contract, and of failing to provide cover under an insurance contract.
Giffen, of St Albans, is a specialist in electrical engineering and the contracting industry, and its customers include London boroughs, various NHS trusts, prisons, and hospitals. Giffen values its claim against Equitas at £225,280.78 and interest.
