QS is providing a tent at the music festival for punters to confess their sustainability sins

QS outfit Gleeds has taken the unusual step of setting up a tent at this year’s Glastonbury festival to spread its sustainability message. The firm has reassembled the stand it built at last month’s Think07 event to encourage people to become more environmentally aware.

The tent is being run by environmental charity Parties for Purposes. Two women dressed as nuns will encourage festival goers to enter and confess their eco-sins such as not recycling too much or going on too many short-haul flights.

A Gleeds spokesman said the firm decided to market itself at such an event to strengthen its sustainable message. “There is an increasingly diverse range of people at the event. We’re happy to support the charity and to identify ourselves with the sustainability agenda at such a festival.”
