Two senior hires will take up roles in the firm’s Asia Pacific and health divisions

Gleeds has has made two new senior hires after poaching directors from rivals Faithful + Gould and Sweett, Building can reveal.

Gleeds has appointed Anthony Greenwood from Faithful + Gould as director for its Asia Pacific operation, while Howard Thomas joins from Sweett as director of its health division.

Greenwood joins Gleeds after more than 20 years with Faithful + Gould, where he held a number of high-profile positions, including commercial head of the firm’s sustainability division in Shanghai, and regional director based in Hong Kong.

His new role at Gleeds will see him take responsibility for the management of client relationships between the UK and Asia Pacific and improving integration between the two regions, as well as identifying ways to improve efficiency.

Meanwhile, Thomas joins after 25 years as a director at Sweett, where he provided strategic and technical advice to hospital trusts and other NHS organisations on property and development issues.

Based out of Gleeds’ London HQ, Thomas’ new role will involve supervising the delivery of major health projects in both the public and private sectors.
