Architect Ron Arad Associates has unveiled this showroom for car manufacturer Maserati in the Italian city of Modena.
The design aims to combine the company's 75-year heritage with cutting-edge technology. One design feature is an acrobatic loop structure made of hundreds of components, created by computer-controlled cutting machines previously used in aerospace, shipbuilding and motor-racing applications. The executive architect and director of works was Pierandrei Associates, main contractor was Mario Neri, mechanical contractor was Burani, electrical consultant was Elettroprogetti and electrical contractor was Sice.
