Housing forum chief executive David Crewe is to take an enhanced executive role on the board of the Movement for Innovation.

Crewe, who already serves as a non-executive board member, will remain chief executive of the Housing Forum, where he is co-ordinating the compilation of the government-sponsored housebuilders’ league tables.

Crewe said: “The idea is to ensure that the two initiatives run along the same lines and remain closely linked. But it is also to ensure that there is no duplication of effort.”

Crewe will replace Ian Huntington, who has been on secondment to the Movement for Innovation from Christiani & Nielsen and will return to his company at the end of June.

Crewe said the housebuilders’ league tables were on schedule for publication in the autumn.
