A major feature series assessing radical changes that will affect the housing sector in the next 20 years starts next week in Building.
Housing Futures – part of the Building Futures programme, a joint initiative between CABE and the RIBA – is a provocative series of papers on key issues that will affect the sector over the next two decades. Issues include a challenge of currently held beliefs in the future of urban regeneration and a prediction of the demise of the car.

The papers are written by academics, consultants and housebuilders. The discussion of the delivery of housing in the future is written by Crest Nicholson chief executive John Calcutt. Other authors include regeneration developer and London School of Economics lecturer Roger Zogolovitch and Roger Levett, co-founder of sustainability consultant Levett-Therivel.

Building will run the papers over four weeks in March.
