This masterplan by Bennetts Associates is intended to turn the area around Manchester’s Piccadilly station into a civil service campus

The plan would house up to 5,000 civil servants and create a public park in a largely neglected approach to the city. The masterplan has just been submitted to planners by the owners of the land, BRB (Residuary), a company owned by the Department for Transport and it will go to public consultation in January. As yet there are no cost estimates.
