Hurley Palmer Flatt has snapped up the 50-strong civil and structural engineer Bradbrook Consulting for an undisclosed sum.

Bradbrook has a turnover of around £4m and offices in London, Kingston, Watford and Manchester, as well as a fifth in Dubai.

Among the schemes it is working on is a leisure and resi scheme at 6 Grosvenor Place in London’s West End. Bradbrook directors Simon Tolan and Grant Verster will remain with the company.

Hurley Palmer Flatt chairman Paul Flatt (pictured) said: “Our investment in Bradbrooks is another step forward to growing our existing civil and structural engineering division.”

The firm, which has a turnover of £30m and employs around 420 staff across nine offices, is working on a number of high-profile schemes in the City of London including Brookfield’s London Wall office scheme at Moorgate, while it is wrapping up interiors work on the UBS building at 5 Broadgate, which was built by Mace.
