Bristol firm demands over £36k from GAJ Planned and Reactive Maintenance

Ikon Construction is headed for a High Court showdown with GAJ Planned and Reactive Maintenance in a dispute over a construction contract.

Ikon says it was instructed to carry out works for various policy holders, confirmed by GAJ’ official works orders and countersigned completion notes, but claims it has not been paid for its work.

GAJ is not entitled to withhold payment and a total of £36,510.77 remains outstanding, according to a High Court writ.

Ikon, of The Old Bakehouse, Downs Park East, Westbury Park, Bristol, is suing Coventry based GAJ for payment of the money, as well as interest of £1,335.90 and continuing interest of £13.25 a day.

Ikon also seeks payment of £490 under the Late Payment Regulations.
