Scheme completed by Bedford contractor SDC

Work on a £65m, three building bio-hub designed by Scott Brownrigg at the Cambridge Science Park has now completed with the first tenants currently moving in.

The project for clients Trinity College Cambridge and Chinese firm Tsinghua University Holdings includes work and research space for over 2,000 scientists along with laboratories, open plan chemistry and biology spaces and café space.

Built by Bedford contractor SDC, project manager was Bidwells with QS Stace. Others to work on the job included structural engineer MLM and M&E consultants Hilson Moran and Venables Associates.
