Marley Eternit is set to launch an integrated PV product that it says is the first on the market to be compatible with fibre cement slates.

The product is part of the company’s Solesia PV systems, which are already available for use with Marley Eternit’s concrete and clay interlocking tiles.
Integrated PV slates and tiles look more discreet once installed, making them more acceptable to planners and occupiers of adjacent properties.
The company said the fibre cement PV slates had an output of up to 97W/m2. Although aimed at the new build market, the system is also suitable for retrofitting. The company said the product should be on the market within three months.
