St George’s in Tooting is being revamped under plans to modernise it

Interserve has won more public sector work with a scheme to revamp a series of hospital buildings in south London.

The firm has won a string of public contracts in recent weeks and its latest haul is for St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Tooting.

The work has been won under the health department’s ProCure 22 framework and will include a number of major and minor works across the Trust’s estate. Close to £6m of work has been agreed with a further £15.5m due to be awarded.

Interserve said its businesses working on the scheme included its construction, engineering and fit-out arms.

Other firms working on the scheme include cost consultant Gleeds, M&E consultant Troup Bywaters + Anders structural engineer, Thomasons, and architect Sonnemann Toon.
