Interserve announced this week that it has won £700m of contracts for the year to 30 June.

In a trading update, the services group said that its performance had been encouraging and results were predicted to be in line with expectations.

Contracts have been signed with the Ministry of Defence and the facilities management department for Croydon council.

It is working towards the acquisition and integration of the MacLellan businesses on 20 July, which it expects will deliver further growth.

The company has also worked on two PFIs, one for Plymouth Schools and one for Addiewell Prison, West Lothian, together worth £140m.

Interserve’s turnover is more than £1.2bn.
