Seven Capital says group company will now oversee completion of west London scheme
The developer behind a residential scheme in west London stalled by Ardmore’s collapse has restarted the job through a group company.
Seven Capital said the £500m scheme at 100 Kensington had stopped following Ardmore’s collapse in June.
But it said work is now restarting under the management of Seven Capital (Woodrow), an existing group company that was set up in 2016.

It said that it expected 500 workers to be back on site by the autumn with the job, which is around 30% complete, due to finish at the beginning of 2028.
Seven Capital said its chief operating officer James Moody is running the job alongside its construction director and site team.
Moody said: “We had previously been aware of some of the financial issues facing Ardmore, which allowed us the time to develop a solid contingency plan to secure the completion of 100 Kensington should the effective administration happen.”
The job on West Cromwell Road includes a 29-storey tower and will feature 462 homes across seven buildings. It has been masterplanned by John McAslan & Partners with detailed designed by Corstophine & Wright.
It will also include three mansion buildings as well as retail, commercial and leisure space.
