Morgan Sindall and Bam only others to win places on all 20 lots announced today

Kier, Bam and Morgan Sindall are the big winners on a new £8bn national framework.

The trio were the only firms to win spots on all 20 lots of the new Procure Partnerships national framework, which will be used across 10 regions in England and Wales.

The framework covers two value bands in each region – projects worth between £4m and £12m and a second for jobs over £12m – making 20 lots in total.

In all, 23 firms secured places on the four-year deal, with other firms to have won places including Laing O’Rourke, Interserve and Galliford Try.

Procure Partnerships ran a pilot of the framework in the North-west over the past year that has procured more than £200m of projects, across five additional lots.

Firms including Kier, O'Rourke and Bam are among those working on this deal, which has been used by public sector clients including local authorities, NHS trusts and universities.

Robbie Blackhurst, framework director at Procure Partnerships, said it would be ploughing money back into the jobs it was procuring.

He added: “We recognise that the delivery of measurable social value is key for our public sector clients, and as such we have pledged to invest 12% of each projects value back into social value activates.”

Clients can choose between running single-stage, fully priced tenders, two-stage mini competitions, or to direct award when procuring under the framework.
