Kier’s property arm has signed a deal to regenerate part of Camberley in Surrey.

Surrey Heath borough council is planning a £200m revamp (pictured) of the site on London Road and wants to build residential, commercial and new public realm.

Council chief executive Karen Whelan said: “The proposed scheme will completely transform a run-down area of the town centre and create a thriving new town square.”

Site surveys are expected to begin shortly ahead of a planning application being submitted later this spring.
