Scheme for CO-RE set to finish by middle of 2027
Knight Harwood has begun work on a £30m retrofit scheme in London’s Mayfair for developer CO-RE.
Designed by John Robertson Architects, the scheme at 25 George Street is expected to wrap up in the second quarter of 2027 and will create eight floors of office space with the upper two floors reconstructed using mass timber.
New terraces will be created on levels four to seven, with large planters installed on levels six and seven.

CO-RE, which is expected to fire the starting gun on the race to build a £300m tower at 130 Fenchurch Street early in the new year, is working for client Old Park Lane Management.
Others working on the scheme, which was given planning by Westminster council last summer, include QS Vibe, the fledgling cost consultant set up earlier this year by former employees of Core Five, engineers Hilson Moran and Newmark and project manager WT.
