Simon Moon has become managing director of Atkins’ design and engineering business. He was formerly Atkins’ business improvement director. His predecessor Paul Dollin has become WSP UK managing director and executive director of WSP Group.

Derek Ginsberg, managing director of Wyn Construction, has been elected chair of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association’s regional office in north-east England. John Dickson, chair of Owen Pugh in Dudley, Northumberland, has been elected vice chair.
Manchester inward investment agency Midas has appointed Angie Robinson, chief executive of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, as its head.
