Holden leaves to run Crossrail

Mark Bayley, finance director, London & Continental Railways (LCR) has been appointed Rob Holden’s successor as chief executive. Holden will take the helm at £15.9bn Crossrail at the end of the month.

Holden’s firm has won plaudits and awards for its work on St Pancras Station and the high speed link to the Channel Tunnel, also known as High Speed 1.

Transcend Team was recently appointed at programme partner on the mega-project. The announcement of the project delivery partner has been delayed for an undisclosed reason.
