MacCormac Jamieson Prichard architect Ian Logan has been headhunted by Aukett Associates.

Logan, who was responsible for the acclaimed Southwark Station on the Jubilee Line Extension, will join the multidisciplinary practice's eight-strong transport team.

The Aukett team is currently designing transport interchanges for Paddington and Finsbury Park in London and worked on the refurbishment of 10 stations on London Underground's Northern Line. But Katherine Urbanek, head of the transport team, said: "We want a wider range of projects and are looking for more Railtrack, bus transport and airport work.

We are also looking to Europe, where Aukett already gains 25% of its income."

Logan is the third design associate to leave MacCormac Jamieson Prichard within the last year. As well as designing Southwark Station, he was in charge of the Phoenix Initiative masterplan for the regeneration of Coventry city centre.
