This cultural centre, to be known as the Weave, has been designed to assist the regeneration of east Lancashire.

It is based on the “fashion tower” conceived by the late Tony Wilson. Brand expert Ralph Ardill, who led the development of Dublin’s Guinness Store, has developed Wilson’s concept in a complex of disused cotton mills in the Weavers Triangle area of Burnley. It will offer gallery space, commercial workspace, shopping, restaurants and a rooftop bar.
