Greenstock has launched an LED floodlight, made by Deltech, which it says uses 160 LEDs to provide the same light as an 80W lamp, but with a power consumption of 10W.
The life of an LED lamp is 50,000 hours, says Greenstock, which generally works out at about 12 years of use. This means they have to be changed less often and maintenance costs are cut down, compared with conventional, incandescent and halogen lamps. The floodlight is IP65 rated and measures 185 × 146 × 129mm. The LEDs are available in a variety of colours, including white, multicoloured, blue, red, orange and green.
