Scheme known as A2 building renamed the Dock Shed

Mace has completed work on the first commercial building at British Land’s Canada Water redevelopment.

Called the Dock Shed, but also known by its previous name of the A2 building, the £100m scheme for Southwark council is a mixed-use job covering a leisure centre, flexible workspace and retail.

Architect Allies & Morrison said the design is based on a “contemporary interpretation of Canada Water’s historic ‘Deal Shed’ timber warehouses”.
