Specialist says it is looking to grow business across Europe

M&E contractor Phoenix ME hailed a record order book as the firm posted improved turnover and profit last year.

The east London business said its order book had hit a record £800m for the next four years with turnover for its current financial year set to hit £400m.

Revenue last year was up 8% to £319m while pre-tax profit jumped 55% to £16.6m for the year to September. Staff numbers were up to 469 people from 420 last time.

The firm said £3.5m of last year’s revenue was from Europe and added that it expected this to grow further. “We are actively pursuing new business opportunities across Europe, including Finland and Austria, with engagements expected to commence in 2026 as part of our continued European growth strategy.”
