Firm says income has edged up 2% in year to October

Building products firm Marshalls said its expectations for this year remain unchanged in a trading update for the 10 months to October this morning.

It said revenue for the year so far was up 2% to £548m with building products and roofing sales helping edge income upwards.

Sales at its core landscaping business stayed flat since the half year but the firm said this “reflected an improving performance and encouraging market share growth”.

‘In its interim results, Marshalls said that adjusted profit before tax for 2025 to be in the range of £42m and £46m.

Marshalls will unveil its 2025 results next March.
