Developer and contractor Deeprose has begun work on the redevelopment of a Masonic lodge in Guildford.

The mixed-use scheme, designed by Scott Brownrigg, includes a 1200 m2 lodge building, parking facilities and 14 luxury apartments. Lying within a conservation area, the building employs natural materials to respond to its setting. Apartments will be clad in untreated elm, with stone used to offset the timber.
