Jobs in Reading and London amount to 900 dwellings
Two major housing schemes totalling nearly 900 dwellings have been inked in Berkshire and London with McLaren Living signing up for a £250m mixed-use scheme in Reading that will include 600 homes.
The firm has inked a development agreement with the local council for the job known as Minster Quarter.
As well as the 600 homes, a third of which will be affordable, it will also include 40,000sq ft of commercial space and new public space.

The scheme will be built on a 5.2-acre site, formerly occupied by the Civic Centre.
Meanwhile, McAleer & Rushe has been appointed to build student housing on Tottenham High Road.
Called the Printworks, the deal will include 287 student bedrooms in restored listed buildings at 807 and 819–829 High Road.
