Contractor wins £16.5m job on central London project, the Turnmill building
McLaren has won a £16.5m contract from Derwent London to build The Turnmill building on Clerkenwell Road, central London.
The project was designed by Piercy & Co. AKT II is the engineer, Jackson Coles is the project manager, Davis Langdon is the QS and Aecom is the sustainability, MEP and security consultant.
In an exclusive interview this week, McLaren founders, Kevin Taylor and Phil Pringle, disclosed the firm increased turnover by almost 50% last year to about £385m.
