Consultant EC Harris has won a contract to survey the 34 buildings of the parliamentary estate in London.

The firm will draw up a 10-year programme of work for the 2 million ft2 area, which includes Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster plus 1,100 rooms, 100 staircases and three miles of corridors.
